In this role, you will support quantitative, fundamental, tactical, and macro portfolio managers by helping them access datasets across a range of asset classes and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily user entitlements, track usage, and ensure adherence to vendor contracts and exchange requirements.
- Handle relationships with market data providers such as Bloomberg and LSEG, including licensing, onboarding, and expense optimization.
- Support exchange audits and respond to compliance questions by providing accurate usage details and coordinating with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution.
- Keep inventory records accurate in the Optimize Spend platform and identify opportunities to improve cost visibility and consolidate spend.
- Watch data consumption patterns, investigate discrepancies, and maintain strong controls around data integrity.
- Document data sources, operational processes, workflows, and governance practices.
Required Background
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business. You should bring 2–5 years of experience in market data, data operations, or a closely related position within a hedge fund, asset management, or financial services environment. A strong analytical mindset, solid problem-solving ability, and a deep understanding of financial datasets, vendor ecosystems, and licensing frameworks are important. Practical experience with Bloomberg EMRS, Refinitiv DACS, and Optimize Spend is expected.
