Marketing Operations Manager

Role overview

MongoDB’s Marketing Technology group is hiring a systems administrator to oversee and steward the workflow and digital asset management environment used by Marketing. This position is the main owner for Adobe Workfront and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets, with accountability for system setup, governance, and ongoing refinement.

The role is a trusted partner to marketing teams and other stakeholders, helping ensure that processes, asset handling, and connected systems are built to scale, run efficiently, and support business priorities. The successful candidate will bring strong practical experience, an operations-first mindset, and the drive to increase adoption and continually improve both platforms.

This position is based in Dublin and is aligned to MongoDB’s hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day administration of Workfront, AEM Assets, and Jira, covering setup, workflow architecture, access control, and licensing.
• Establish and uphold governance rules, usage guidelines, and operating standards for Marketing’s workflow platforms.
• Build and maintain the roadmap and long-term direction for Workfront and AEM Assets, with a focus on automation, optimization, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Work closely with Marketing and other functions to collect business needs and convert them into scalable system solutions.
• Partner with Change Management and Enablement teams to improve adoption, deliver training, and support ongoing engagement with the tools.
• Implement system updates, enhancements, and configuration changes in line with business priorities.
• Monitor platform effectiveness and make improvements based on user input and changing marketing requirements.
• Help maintain integrations between Workfront, AEM Assets, and the wider MarTech stack.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience administering Adobe Workfront and AEM Assets, including system design, configuration, and governance.
• Solid understanding of Workfront and AEM Assets capabilities, functions, and recommended practices.
• Proven ability to work with Marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable workflow and asset management solutions.
• Capability to turn business needs into system configurations and process improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective stakeholder management.
• A careful, structured, and proactive approach to system ownership and continuous improvement.

Preferred experience

• Adobe Workfront certification, preferably Core Developer Professional or Expert; Project Manager Professional is also appreciated.
• Experience administering Jira.
• Exposure to integrations, APIs, or data flows in a MarTech environment.
• Familiarity with AI-driven workflow automation or enhancements to digital asset management.
• Experience supporting adoption and enablement programs in enterprise settings.
