Overview

MediMed Pharmacy Limited is looking for a committed and qualified Pharmacist to work in its community pharmacy in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. The role is suited to someone who enjoys patient-centered service, medication management, and active involvement in community health.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense both prescription medicines and over-the-counter products.
• Offer patients clear medication guidance and practical health advice.
• Develop and sustain positive connections with people in the surrounding community.
• Review medication therapy for patients and identify possible drug interactions or related concerns.
• Oversee inventory, place stock orders, and maintain control of pharmacy supplies.
• Follow pharmacy legislation, regulatory standards, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in guiding and supervising support staff within the pharmacy.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree or a higher qualification.
• Current pharmacist registration and an up-to-date practice licence for the present year.
• Sound understanding of over-the-counter medicines and long-term medication management.
• Strong spoken and written communication abilities, with solid customer service skills.
• The ability to perform independently and remain effective under pressure.
