Jeeny is a mobility and commuting app designed to make everyday transportation simpler, more affordable, and more adaptable by matching users with the ride option they prefer. The company began in 2014 as Easy Taxi and was later reintroduced in 2016 under the Jeeny brand to broaden its service offering.

Jeeny operates as a joint venture involving MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA. Its presence currently spans Saudi Arabia and Jordan, with offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam, Khobar, Amman, Lahore, and Karachi.

About the Role

This position plays a key part in strengthening business decision-making, planning, and performance management. The role reports directly to the CFO and oversees a team of 2 analysts.

You will own end-to-end performance monitoring, financial planning, and strategic reporting so that ride-hailing operations across markets stay efficient and aligned. The role also includes leading and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive monthly and quarterly budgeting for both revenue and profitability.
• Set quarterly and monthly KPI goals.
• Spot performance gaps against targets and collaborate with business teams to define actions that close those gaps.
• Build regular routines with business teams and senior leadership, such as weekly performance reviews and month-end retrospective calls, to keep progress on track.
• Work with business stakeholders to support major decisions.
• Ensure L0, L1, and L2 KPI visibility is available at the right cadence for business users.
• Proactively analyze L1 and L2 indicators to uncover ways to improve L0 performance.
• Prepare business and financial models for ad hoc requests from cross-functional partners.
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of strategy, planning, and performance analysts by setting goals, reviewing performance, and building a strong team environment.
• Partner across functions to improve efficiency and overall operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree such as MSc, MA, or MBA is an advantage.
• At least 4 years of experience in business finance, strategy, or planning roles.
• Prior people management experience is mandatory.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
• Solid capability in automation and practical use of AI tools.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking with sound problem-solving ability.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
