Role overview

We are hiring a reliable Porter to support the smooth day-to-day running of healthcare operations in Peterborough on a full-time basis. The role is contracted for 35 hours per week, with relief coverage as the shift pattern.

This position focuses on maintaining a high level of cleanliness and customer care while working as part of a team that supports hospitality and healthcare services. Key duties

• Keep lobbies and other shared public spaces clean, presentable, and orderly.
• Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams with room preparation and moving furniture when needed.
• Carry out selected front-desk tasks, such as arranging theatre tickets or restaurant reservations.
• Respond to customer needs and requests promptly and appropriately.
• Complete errands and other routine support tasks.
• Help maintain customer safety by placing or removing warning signs, such as those used for wet floors or freshly painted areas.
