About the Role
Meta Product Managers collaborate with diverse teams, including engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers, to develop innovative products. We seek Product Managers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven by rapid progress.
Responsibilities
- Lead a designated product area, establishing success metrics, prioritizing challenges, and devising strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Adapt strategies based on learnings and product evolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, develop roadmaps, and drive progress towards goals and milestones. Address challenges and blockers while maintaining team cohesion.
- Conduct user research and market analysis to inform product decisions and influence the broader product organization.
- Ensure proactive coordination with partner functions to achieve product success and structure shared roadmaps for optimal outcomes.
- Clearly communicate product strategy and progress to all stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach fellow Product Managers and cross-functional team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years specifically in Product Management.
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent relevant qualification, preferably in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Experience working with a cross-functional product team on a significant product area, encompassing strategy definition, requirements specification, resource coordination (marketing, legal, etc.), and driving teams to meet key milestones.
- Proven ability to manage a product through various stages of its lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success in driving significant improvements in product performance and team effectiveness.
- Proficiency in analyzing large, complex datasets to make informed decisions.
- Experience synthesizing diverse user requirements and contextual information into a unified product strategy.
- Experience leading and motivating product teams, alongside effective collaboration with partner teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex messages with utmost clarity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to integrate AI tools to enhance workflows and achieve measurable results, such as increased efficiency or improved quality.
- Experience in implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment and bias mitigation.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous AI skill development, including prompt engineering and staying abreast of emerging AI technologies.
Additional Information
The annual compensation for this position ranges from $146,000 to $204,000, plus potential bonuses, equity, and benefits. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The listed compensation reflects base salary only and may not include additional incentives. Meta provides a comprehensive benefits package.
