Role Overview
This position is focused on expanding business for group and commercial insurance offerings across organizations of different sizes. The role is individual-contributor in nature and centers on generating leads, having consultative conversations with prospects, and nurturing long-term client relationships. Success in the role will be measured by achievement of GMV and revenue goals through disciplined pipeline management and outcome-oriented selling.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities through open-market companies, internal business lines, partner networks, and other sources.
- Assess client needs and suggest insurance solutions that are tailored to their requirements.
- Pitch and close group insurance products such as health, life, disability, dental, and vision cover for small, mid-sized, and large enterprises.
- Develop and deliver competitive quotations and proposal documents.
- Maintain productive relationships with clients, partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a dependable advisor on employee benefits and insurance-related questions.
- Handle renewals, resolve service concerns, and coordinate policy revisions with service teams and partners.
- Review policy wording, coverage choices, and pricing to determine the best fit.
- Work with underwriters and carriers to complete coverage arrangements.
- Support policy submissions, enrollment steps, and customer onboarding.
- Ensure all policies follow applicable insurance regulations as well as internal company standards.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of leads, sales activity, and client interactions.
- Keep up to date with market developments, competitor products, and changes in offerings.
