About the role
Homes Victoria is focused on delivering more and higher-quality homes for Victorians, along with strong services for renters and local communities. This position plays a key part in delivering housing upgrade projects from start to finish, including coordinating specialist consultants involved in design and documentation as well as contractors carrying out the upgrade works.
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in project management within the residential building sector.
- Working knowledge of construction contracts and how they are applied.
- Someone who works well in a team, shares information openly, communicates clearly, and contributes positively to group goals.
Key responsibilities
- Support the complete project lifecycle so departmental objectives are achieved.
- Help investigate, analyse, and put into action projects aligned to defined outcomes and deliverables.
- Assist in shaping and delivering projects or sub-projects, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Track and evaluate project progress to confirm departmental goals are being met.
- Oversee the delivery of housing upgrade projects in line with relevant laws, government rules, and guidance.
- Prepare advice for stakeholders and contribute to reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet submissions, and agency papers.
