About the Role
Join our accomplished Systematic Market Making team to support daily operations through automation, data analytics, and the development of reporting infrastructure. This position bridges trading, data engineering, and quantitative analytics. You will be instrumental in maintaining the desk's efficiency with reliable reporting, robust data pipelines, and actionable insights derived from extensive trading and market data. You will collaborate closely with Quant Traders, Risk Managers, and Developers, gaining exposure to pricing, hedging, liquidity management, and performance analysis, with a clear trajectory towards leading quantitative trading strategy development.
Responsibilities
- Automate daily operational workflows for trading and risk functions.
- Develop and maintain scripts to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
- Support monitoring tools for pricing, hedging, exposure, and execution quality.
- Strengthen the reliability and robustness of trading-related systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain reporting frameworks for trading performance, risk exposure, and liquidity metrics.
- Construct scalable and maintainable data pipelines.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within reporting systems.
- Address ad-hoc analysis requests from traders and senior management.
- Transform raw trading and market data into structured, usable datasets.
- Extract insights to optimize pricing and improve hedging efficiency.
- Analyze client flow, spread performance, slippage, and inventory behavior.
- Assist in research projects by preparing and validating datasets.
- Continuously enhance internal research and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience in quantitative analytics, trading support, or data-centric roles.
- A strong academic record in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and analysis (including libraries like pandas and NumPy).
- Solid command of SQL and relational database querying.
- Comfortable handling large and complex real-world datasets.
- A keen problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with financial time-series data.
- Familiarity with FX, CFD, Crypto, or other leveraged trading products.
- Understanding of trading performance metrics such as PnL attribution, Sharpe ratio, and drawdown.
- Experience with automation, ETL processes, or production monitoring tools.

Additional Information
This role requires heavy use of Python for analytics, automation, and data processing, extensive use of SQL for querying large trading databases, and working with time-series data across various asset classes including FX, Metals, Indices, Commodities, and Single Stocks.
