Role Summary

This position sits at a Dexterra workforce accommodations site and holds complete responsibility for the operation, direction, and overall performance of a fast-expanding workforce housing project. The facility is expected to begin at about 500 rooms and grow rapidly to more than 4,000 rooms.

The Site Manager must bring senior-level leadership experience in large, complex hospitality or accommodation settings. The role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on management across service areas, with facilities maintenance specifically identified as part of the scope.

This is a safety-sensitive role and employment is contingent on passing drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work screening.

Key Duties

• Direct day-to-day site activity and remain accountable for both immediate operations and long-term results.
• Drive a consistently strong guest and client experience through reliable, high-quality hospitality delivery.
• Enforce Dexterra standards for food quality, service consistency, cleanliness, and health and safety practices.
• Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, onboarding, and performance management initiatives.
• Oversee financial planning, including revenue projections, budget creation, and expense control.
• Create staffing plans and schedules that match client forecasts and operational requirements.
• Protect profitability by ensuring the site stays within approved budget parameters.
• Provide clear leadership and delegation so all departments operate smoothly.
• Serve as the main contact for the client and take ownership of operational outcomes.

Candidate Profile

The right candidate will be a senior operator who shows accountability, service focus, and the ability to lead complex teams through rapid growth.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality or accommodations management, preferably in large hotels, resorts, workforce housing, or similar settings.
• Background in senior operational leadership with responsibility for multiple service lines.
• Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or a related field.
• Strong financial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capability and familiarity with hospitality or facilities management software.
• Strong sense of ownership, empathy, customer orientation, and responsiveness to guest and client needs.
• Comfort working in a fast-growing, highly complex environment and leading teams through scale-up.
