Research Analyst

Role overview

This is a remote research analyst position focused on supporting the training and evaluation of AI language models. The work is designed for fluent language professionals and can be performed entirely from home on a flexible, self-managed schedule.

The engagement is part-time and contractual. It is a strong match for people whose background includes writing, teaching, translating, tutoring, linguistics, editing, or other language-focused work.

Compensation

Pay is up to USD 20 per hour, with weekly payments.

Key duties

• Review AI-generated writing and assess it for quality, factual accuracy, and fluency.
• Draft short prompts and creative replies that help improve AI training.
• Compare and order multiple AI outputs using defined evaluation standards.
• Share written observations on language quality and related issues.

Candidate profile

Applicants should be fluent in both their own language and English. A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, especially in a field related to humanities, languages, or writing.

Relevant professional experience in writing, teaching, translation, editing, annotation, or similar language-based work is expected. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow assessment instructions are important. Experience in linguistics, academic writing, data annotation, or AI content review would be an added advantage.

Work arrangement

This role is fully remote and can be done from anywhere. Hours are flexible, and you are free to set your own timetable. It is suited to either a main source of income or supplemental work.
