About the Role
We are looking for a careful, insight-driven Risk Analyst to join the team on a full-time basis. This position focuses on spotting, evaluating, tracking, and communicating risks that could affect operations, financial outcomes, regulatory obligations, and broader business goals.
The role works across business teams, leadership, and other stakeholders to strengthen risk management efforts and support sound decision-making throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect, evaluate, and continuously track operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risk exposures.
- Carry out risk reviews and judge how well existing controls are working.
- Examine data patterns and trends to uncover emerging threats and possible areas of exposure.
- Build risk reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for managers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of risk frameworks, policies, and operating procedures.
- Oversee adherence to internal rules, regulatory obligations, and risk standards.
- Assist with control testing, risk evaluations, and mitigation planning.
- Work with different teams to identify ways to reduce and improve risk.
- Keep risk logs and maintain supporting documentation for assessments and controls.
- Stay updated on industry shifts, changing regulations, and current risk management practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Risk Management, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong ability to analyze situations, think critically, and solve problems effectively.
- Capability to interpret datasets, spot trends, and evaluate possible risks.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
- High level of accuracy, along with strong organizational habits.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to handle several priorities at once and deliver within deadlines.
- Solid understanding of business operations and risk management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to risk management, compliance, audit, finance, or data analysis through internships, academic work, or professional experience.
- Understanding of risk assessment methods and internal control structures.
- Awareness of regulatory expectations and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
- Professional credentials such as FRM, PRM, CRM, CFA, or equivalent are considered beneficial.
- Background in banking, financial services, insurance, consulting, or corporate risk settings is an added advantage.
