Role Overview
StandardAero is seeking a Salesforce Analyst to help administer and improve its Salesforce environments. This position supports platform health, system reliability, project coordination, user assistance, and security controls. The role is based in St. John’s, NL or Winnipeg, MB and is part of a company known for long-term stability, strong resources, and a respectful workplace culture.
What You Will Handle
- Keep the Salesforce org running smoothly and monitor overall platform performance.
- Track installed packages, manage upgrades, and stay aligned with compliance needs.
- Prepare the system for quarterly Salesforce releases and product retirements.
- Make sure custom code and automated processes remain compliant and well-controlled.
- Review data quality, usage trends, license consumption, and security indicators.
- Work to lower technical debt and examine email audit logs.
- Drive Salesforce-related projects, including planning timelines and deliverables.
- Collect business requirements from subject-matter experts and review analysis and design documentation.
- Coordinate the development lifecycle, release activities, and sandbox refreshes.
- Help prioritize developer tasks and manage workload flow.
- Handle Jira service requests and support SLA targets.
- Provide Tier 1 assistance to important Salesforce users.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including review of HR termination reports.
- Oversee production and sandbox backup routines.
- Troubleshoot backup problems and re-authenticate after sandbox refreshes.
- Maintain and archive backup documentation and records.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Analyst, or similar position.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce configuration, automation, and platform tools.
- Working familiarity with SDLC, sandbox administration, and release coordination.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and close attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel within Canada.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills across teams.
- Experience with user support or IT service management tools such as Jira is preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred.
