Key responsibilities include verifying identities, managing the flow of visitors and staff, and ensuring the protection of individuals, property, and assets in strict adherence to company and client protocols. The role also requires providing polite and helpful assistance to visitors and staff, managing inquiries, and effectively de-escalating tense situations when necessary. Good physical health and endurance are necessary to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking, and patrolling as the role demands. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required for report writing, incident logging, and coordinating with team members and authorities. A valid security license or certification as mandated by local regulations, along with a clear background check suitable for security employment, is a prerequisite. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, according to operational needs, is also required.
