Role overview

Due to new project opportunities, the Brisbane team is looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to support the commercial and contractual management of major construction works.

What you will do

  • Lead the tendering process for trade packages, including preparing and approving tender documentation, creating the tender list, issuing documents, receiving submissions, comparing bids, and preparing recommendations for approval.
  • Draft and finalise contract documentation for trade packages.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated reports covering cash flow forecasts, variation tracking, contractual matters, and cost analysis.
  • Manage variation claims and progress claims under head contract and subcontract arrangements.
  • Handle contract-condition issues under the head contract and subcontract agreements while working closely with the Project and Commercial Manager to help maintain internal cost controls.

What you need

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven background in leading contract administration on large-scale building projects, including guiding and supporting other team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build productive relationships across all levels of the business.
  • The ability to work independently with initiative, sound judgement, active listening, and effective decision-making.
