Warehouse Supervisor

Job overview

The Warehouse Supervisor/Manager will be in charge of day-to-day warehouse functioning, making sure stock is stored, handled, and moved efficiently. The role also includes overseeing inventory, guiding the team, enforcing safety practices, and keeping warehouse workflows effective so wider business activities stay supported.

Core responsibilities

• Direct routine warehouse activities such as goods receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipment dispatch.
• Maintain precise inventory control and ensure stock levels remain within the required range.
• Carry out periodic stock checks and fix any inventory mismatches.
• Lead, coach, and monitor warehouse personnel to improve output and productivity.
• Arrange the warehouse floor plan and storage space to get the best possible use of available area.
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other teams to keep materials moving without delays.
• Review operational methods and introduce improvements that raise efficiency and lower expenses.
• Support adherence to health, safety, and internal company procedures.
• Keep records, manage paperwork, and document all warehouse-related transactions.
• Oversee returned items, damaged stock, and reverse logistics handling.
• Compile operational updates and monitor key performance indicators.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations is expected, and supervisory or management exposure will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with inventory control tools and warehouse management systems such as WMS or ERP is needed.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety requirements is essential.
