Role overview

This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. The employer is Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with a portfolio of more than 530 properties across over 50 countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America.

As a bartender, you will play a creative and guest-focused role, developing distinctive drinks that make use of local ingredients and traditions. The aim of the role is to deliver beverage service that feels memorable, varied, and consistently high in quality.

Key duties

You will be expected to provide drinks service in line with company standards, maintain a polished and welcoming bar setup, and handle orders efficiently. The role also calls for a strong focus on service quality, presentation, cleanliness, and personal professionalism.

Operational standards

You must follow the Beverage Department Standard Operating Procedures and the Beverage Manual at all times. Careful attention to these standards is essential to ensure consistency and excellence in the bar operation.

Qualifications

• A diploma in hospitality is required.
• Prior work experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations is needed.
• A genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent service is important.
• You should be a collaborative team player.
