Role Overview
Aditya Birla Renewables Limited is looking for a Civil Design Engineer focused on solar projects. The position involves civil and structural design work for renewable energy developments, with close coordination across technical interfaces and site conditions.
What You Will Do
- Create civil and structural design deliverables, including detailing and BOQ, for solar-wind hybrid projects.
- Develop STAAD models and structural calculations in line with applicable loading rules and design standards.
- Prepare technical documents such as reports, RFPs, SOPs, checklists, construction manuals, and project-specific technical specifications for Solar, Wind, PSS, and TL work.
- Handle design engineering for solar module mounting structures, including fixed-tilt and seasonal-tilt systems, along with their foundations.
- Review design documentation for RCC control rooms, PCSS, inverter rooms, transformer foundations, MMS foundations, and equipment foundations.
- Assess site conditions and coordinate geotechnical as well as hydrological studies before construction.
- Study new construction methods, materials, and design approaches that can improve output and lower project cost.
- Support and guide junior team members through mentoring and training.
Desired Background
The role calls for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering and 6 to 12 years of relevant experience. Candidates should bring strong hands-on exposure to civil design and engineering in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
Technical Knowledge Needed
