Role Overview
United Pharma Technologies Inc is looking for a careful and insight-driven Data Analyst to work remotely. This position centers on statistical analysis, spotting trends in data, and building data-trending workflows from the ground up, ideally in a medical device setting. The role also calls for clear communication, teamwork across functions, and familiarity with regulated quality environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, roll out, and continuously improve analytics and trend-monitoring workflows using appropriate statistical approaches.
- Examine large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and practical business insights.
- Use Microsoft Excel at an advanced level for analysis, including pivot tables, formulas, statistical tools, and charts or visual outputs.
- Study medical device complaint records to detect product quality and performance patterns.
- Build and update dashboards and reports in Power BI, when available, to help meet business and quality goals.
- Partner with Quality and Regulatory groups by supplying data-backed support for compliance, risk reduction, and improvement efforts.
- Share findings and recommendations with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Protect data accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to relevant regulatory and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a similar discipline.
- A strong grasp of statistical methods and data interpretation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting tasks.
- Hands-on experience creating data-trending methods and analytics processes from scratch.
- Solid analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
- Strong speaking and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Background in a regulated medical device environment.
- Working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and medical device quality systems.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing complaint data related to medical devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building interactive dashboards with Power BI.
- Exposure to quality metrics, CAPA, complaint investigations, and post-market surveillance information.
- Prior support of quality, regulatory, or compliance work in the medical device sector.
Experience
The preferred background is 3 to 7+ years in data analytics, quality analytics, or statistical analysis, ideally within medical devices or another regulated healthcare environment. The role also values a track record of turning complex data into clear insights that guide quality and business decisions.
