Role overview

You will work at the point where data, technology, and the front office meet, helping ensure information sources directly support investment decisions. The position sits within a global multi-asset investment manager focused on macro strategies across interest rates, foreign exchange, equities, and commodities. Data is a core part of the trading platform and is treated as a strategic asset rather than a support function.

You would be joining a newly formed team, giving you the opportunity to influence its setup and direction from the outset. The environment is fast moving, commercially focused, and highly collaborative across research, technology, and investment stakeholders.

What you will do

In this position, you will source, assess, and bring in new data sets that can improve investment outcomes. A major part of the job involves speaking with data vendors, building and managing external relationships, and working with internal stakeholders to understand what they need and how available data can meet those needs. You will help bridge the gap between what the market offers commercially and what the research and technology teams can practically deploy.
