Role overview

This position supports the Senior Vice President and CIO for Global Banking and Markets and Wealth Technology. The role is focused on helping the leadership team deliver on business goals, plans, and initiatives while working in line with applicable regulations, internal policies, and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver senior-level administrative assistance with a strong emphasis on discretion, confidentiality, and familiarity with the business and technical language used across the organization.
  • Support a client-first culture by strengthening relationships, using broader bank systems and knowledge effectively, and helping uphold policy expectations by escalating issues when needed.
  • Manage expense-related work such as budget monitoring, reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis, while ensuring spending stays within approved limits and financial rules.
  • Coordinate office-level expenditures, track monthly variances, and serve as a main contact point for department initiatives and related coordination tasks.
  • Handle calendar planning and arrange travel, including booking and related logistics as required.
  • Collect, review, confirm, and interpret information for executive documents and communications such as memos, letters, reports, speeches, presentations, and releases.
  • Use sound judgment to prepare materials, screen and answer correspondence, inquiries, and calls, organize meetings, and record and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Help improve administrative processes and follow global administrative policies and procedures.
  • Resolve routine support issues independently and escalate matters appropriately when needed.
  • Build effective working relationships by providing professional and efficient support to both internal teams and external contacts.
  • Promote a high-performance and inclusive environment by communicating the organization’s values, vision, and strategy across teams.
  • Support strong business controls and compliance practices related to operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
