Role Overview

BIG Language Solutions is hiring a Language Interpreter who can communicate confidently in English along with either Punjabi or Bengali. This position sits within the Customer Support / Language Services team and follows a rotational US shift schedule aligned to PST. The role is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and reports to the Team Leader or Operations Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret customer conversations live in English and the secondary language, using consecutive or simultaneous style as needed.
  • Support U.S. customers in addressing questions, problems, and service-related concerns in a polite and efficient way.
  • Convey messages faithfully, without changing, leaving out, or distorting meaning.
  • Protect private and sensitive information and handle it with professionalism and care.
  • Keep the interpretation accurate, clear, and contextually appropriate, including tone and intent.
  • Coordinate with team leads and quality teams to strengthen communication standards and customer experience.
  • Follow prescribed call-handling standards, quality expectations, and compliance rules.
  • Keep up with cultural context, terminology, and any client-specific guidance relevant to interpretation work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong spoken fluency in English plus Punjabi or Bengali.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in an international call centre, ideally supporting U.S. customers.
  • Previous work in language interpretation will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Good listening ability, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
  • Clear interpersonal and communication skills with a consistently professional approach.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, demanding environment.
  • Awareness of cultural sensitivity and proper communication etiquette.
  • Exposure to interpreting tools, CRM systems, or call-centre applications will be beneficial.
