Logistics Engineer

Role overview

MOBCO Group is hiring a Logistics Engineer to support a project team in Riyadh. This role is suited to someone highly structured, proactive, and experienced in planning and coordinating logistics for major construction work. What you will do

• Create and roll out logistics plans in close coordination with project management and construction teams.
• Manage how materials, equipment, and other resources are moved, stored, and distributed across the project site.
• Oversee site entry points, traffic movement, delivery timing, and logistics routes.
• Work with suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to make sure materials and equipment arrive on time.
• Build logistics schedules that stay aligned with the construction programme.
• Spot and solve logistics-related issues that could slow down the project.
• Track inventory levels and organize material storage zones within the site.
• Maintain compliance with project safety rules and site logistics procedures.
• Coordinate crane usage, equipment deployment, and transport needs.
• Communicate with local authorities and other stakeholders when permits, access approvals, or similar logistics clearances are needed.
• Prepare reports on logistics activity, progress, and resource usage.
• Help project teams improve site efficiency and overall logistics performance.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 7 and 10 years of experience in construction logistics engineering.
• Background in large-scale or mega construction projects.
• Solid knowledge of construction logistics, materials control, and site coordination.
• Practical experience in logistics planning, transportation coordination, and resource allocation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and logistics management systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Availability to start immediately or after a brief notice period.
