About the Role

The Manager - Quality - MEP - Site is responsible for supporting quality checks, documentation, and inspection tasks for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This position aids engineers in verifying compliance with project drawings, specifications, and client expectations through regular site inspections, detailed reporting, and coordinating various tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist QA/QC engineers in performing inspections for electrical conduit installations, cable tray fitting, plumbing and piping layouts, HVAC ductwork, and fire suppression systems to ensure adherence to approved shop drawings and quality benchmarks.
  • Engage in the inspection of incoming MEP and steel materials, including pipes, cables, motors, control panels, valves, structural steel, and fasteners, verifying proper storage, labeling, and certification.
  • Facilitate coordination with external laboratories and third-party agencies for conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), pressure tests, insulation resistance tests (megger tests), and operational performance evaluations of MEP systems.
  • Compile inspection findings and complete required checklists under the supervision of QA/QC engineers for various work stages, such as pipe leak testing and duct insulation verification.
