- Help grow the business by validating costs, supporting proposals, and spotting opportunities to improve margins and expand accounts.
- Study performance data and trends to improve forecasting, planning, and overall program results.
- Act as a strategic partner throughout the client journey, from onboarding to execution and post-event review.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and lead meetings, presentations, and business reviews.
- Resolve client issues, reduce risks, and put service recovery and continuous improvement actions in place.
- Lead the team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, training, and managing performance while promoting an inclusive workplace.
- Maintain operational consistency by improving processes, managing resources, ensuring compliance, and supporting key administrative work and special projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing pharma meetings teams, with a history of building strong-performing organizations.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and improve team performance.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of pharma meetings sourcing and planning, along with related tools such as Cvent and program management systems.
- Good understanding of healthcare compliance, including Open Payments, the Sunshine Act, and transfer of value rules.
- Experience leading organizational change, improving processes, and increasing operational efficiency.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build relationships at both meeting and senior executive levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to manage several priorities at once and perform well in a fast-moving, client-focused environment.
- Solid commercial judgment, including knowledge of financials, contracts, service level agreements, and analytical problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CMP are an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
