Role overview
This position is responsible for growing branch sales, delivering profitability goals, and keeping customer satisfaction at a high level while working within the branch strategy and business plan.
Policies, processes, and procedures
- Apply the approved department policies, workflows, and procedures, give directions to team members where needed, and monitor compliance so branch activities remain controlled and consistent.
Daily branch operations
- Carry out the branch-function tasks assigned for day-to-day operations in line with established standards.
- Maintain the branch’s presentation and overall customer-facing appearance according to bank standards, coordinating with other teams when needed.
- Contribute ideas and input for local marketing initiatives.
- Serve as a second-level approver whenever the role requires it.
Sales management
- Build a strong sales culture across the branch and create sales plans aligned to targets, then work with the branch team to execute them.
- Distribute sales goals among branch staff and organize sales activities to help achieve those targets.
- Encourage cross-selling, ensure staff identify every possible sales opportunity, and pass those opportunities to sales management and other relevant teams for follow-up.
- Compile branch-level lead generation data, sales targets, and incentive forms, review them, and share them with the Area Manager.
Customer relations and experience
- Deliver the value propositions for the relevant customer segments and ensure services are provided consistently to maintain a strong customer experience in the branch.
- Develop and sustain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers so their banking needs are met and suitable additional products and services are introduced.
- Proactively meet important branch customers to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and act on it where appropriate.
- Promote the bank’s products through branch displays, printed materials, and direct customer interaction to present a professional image and increase product awareness.
People management
- Set clear goals for staff, hold regular performance discussions, complete annual reviews, and create individual development plans, with strong focus on developing high-potential Saudi national employees.
- Manage staffing levels in the branch and ensure administrative and service guidelines are followed.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of Saudi nationals within the organization.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business is required, ideally with a focus on Finance or Accounting. The role calls for 6 to 8 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 2 years in roles with steadily increasing managerial responsibility.
