Mountain Warehouse is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its Blenheim store in Marlborough, New Zealand. This role sits within the New Zealand Retail department and offers a permanent Sunday shift. The hourly pay is $25.10.

Team collaboration

• Work closely with fellow team members in a supportive and inclusive setting.

Store operations

• Support the daily running of the store while following company policies and procedures.
• Process purchases accurately and efficiently using a range of payment methods.
• Keep the sales area tidy, organised, and visually appealing, with products well presented and fully stocked.
• Stay up to date on product details, offers, and pricing so you can guide customers accurately.
• Assist with setting up in-store promotions and displays that improve the shopping experience and support sales.

Customer engagement

• Build positive relationships with shoppers by understanding their needs and suggesting suitable options.
• Respond to questions and issues in a prompt, polite, and professional manner.
• Represent the brand with energy and professionalism to create an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere.

Sales and performance

• Work alongside the team to achieve and surpass sales targets.
• Support management by spotting opportunities for improvement and helping the store perform at its best.

Compensation and benefits

The role pays $25.10 per hour and includes a monthly bonus scheme based on performance and achievable targets.
