  • Improve reliability and observability by adding monitoring, deep telemetry, and strong operational support, while automating solutions across the environment.
  • Help establish secure and compliant systems by applying information security practices, maintaining secure configurations and baselines, and following relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

Experience and Background

The role is intended for candidates with 0 to 4 years of professional software development experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Technical Strengths

Ideal candidates bring experience in systems or production operations, automation scripting, cloud platforms, delivery tooling, and core infrastructure concepts such as networking and data storage.

Additional offerings include short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, family expansion reimbursement, paid vacation starting on date of hire, sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 25 hours worked, eight paid holidays, and two personal days each year.

Eligible partners may also participate in a 401(k) plan with employer match, a discounted company stock program, the Bean Stock equity program, emergency savings support, and financial wellness tools. Education-related support includes 100% upfront tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program via the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, student loan management resources, and access to additional learning opportunities. Backup care and DACA reimbursement are also available.
