Task Associate

Overview

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Task Associate to help keep store operations running smoothly and support a high-quality guest experience. The role is focused on making sure products are available, the store stays organized and clean, and assigned operational tasks are completed accurately and on time. This position calls for strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow established procedures.

What You Will Do

• Help the store meet or exceed sales goals by ensuring tasks are completed as scheduled and merchandise is ready for guests to buy.
• Support compliance and execution targets by keeping up with the task dashboard and finishing operational work such as shipments, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts on time.
• Show up reliably and on schedule for assigned shifts.
• Help create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for teammates and guests.
• Take part in ongoing learning and training, including education on brands and product categories, to strengthen sales performance and professional growth.
• Follow company policies, procedures, standards, and dress code requirements.
• Complete resets, planograms, promotional displays, inventory activities, and shipment processing using the company’s technology and established best practices.
• Keep assigned areas stocked, signed, faced, and ready for shoppers, including making sure testers are available.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap area, backroom, and break room.
• Help protect company property by using loss prevention practices and delivering strong guest service.
• Carry out additional operational duties as needed.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred, though a combination of education and related experience may also be considered.

Schedule and Working Conditions

This role requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Work involves continuous movement throughout the store during the shift, along with frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting. The position also includes frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of items up to 25 lbs, as well as ongoing coordination and handling of objects.
