About the role
This opportunity is for a UI/UX Design Intern to contribute to the experience design of an AI-driven formulation agent. It suits someone who is enthusiastic about AI products and user experience design.
You will partner closely with the product team to simplify sophisticated workflows, make them easier to navigate, and present them in a clear visual format for users.
What you’ll do
- Assist with researching, structuring, and shaping user interfaces for an AI formulation agent.
- Turn complex processes into understandable user flows, wireframes, and interface mockups.
- Support analysis of user situations, business rules, and customer needs.
- Build low- and high-fidelity prototypes in tools like Figma to explain design concepts.
- Contribute to information architecture, navigation systems, dashboards, agent interaction journeys, and results display screens.
- Create supporting visuals such as icons, UI components, diagrams, and basic product graphics when required.
- Join brainstorming sessions and share ideas that improve usability, clarity, and the overall product experience.
- Help review, structure, and maintain design systems, interface patterns, and reusable UI elements.
- Support the gathering of user feedback, usability checks, and design refinements when needed.
What we’re looking for
- Someone currently studying for, or recently finished with, a Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a similar discipline.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX practices, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- The ability to explain design thinking through wireframes, user flows, prototypes, diagrams, or visual drafts.
- Comfort using Figma; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or comparable illustration tools is a plus.
- Strong interest in AI products, SaaS solutions, and enterprise software.
- Good understanding of layout, visual structure, usability, and interaction design principles.
- Capability to work independently on assigned work while staying open to feedback and iteration.
- A portfolio, academic project, internship project, or personal case study is preferred.
- Preference for candidates available for at least 3 months.
