The company began with its first outlet in Koramangala, Bangalore, in September 2009 and has expanded steadily to more than 32 outlets across Bangalore and Chennai. Role Overview

The Unit Chef will be responsible for day-to-day kitchen operations, food preparation, quality control, hygiene, and consistency in output. This role requires close coordination with the immediate supervisor and the Cluster Chef to support operational needs, events, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle food products carefully to preserve freshness and ensure proper storage practices.
  • Use kitchen equipment correctly, keep it in working condition, and escalate any breakdowns or issues.
  • Build effective coordination with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Follow hygiene rules, food safety practices, and safe equipment usage at all times.
  • Monitor food expiry dates and ensure products are stored appropriately.
  • Work with the Cluster Chef each day on requirements and event-related planning.
  • Support training and guidance for kitchen staff to improve productivity and motivation.
  • Collect daily customer feedback and communicate any issues without delay.
