About the role

CoreCommodity Management, LLC is looking to add an Analyst / Trader to its expanding investment team. The position centers on fundamental analysis, trade execution, and day-to-day support of the firm’s existing programs and processes.

Work arrangement

Key responsibilities

  • Support trade execution across multiple markets and instruments.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain large datasets, analytical models, and fundamental dashboards used in the investment process.
  • Track new market developments and be able to interpret and discuss their possible impact.
  • Carry out fundamental research to help generate investment ideas.
  • Prepare reports, refresh investor presentations, and handle requests that support marketing efforts and communication with clients and prospects.
  • Assist with recurring internal and external market commentary, including broad strategy updates and commodity-specific analysis.

Requirements

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a trading-related financial role.
  • Ability to handle critical tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of finance-related mathematics, including probability and statistics.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to research carefully, analyze underlying markets, and explain findings clearly and logically.
  • Strong quality control mindset, with the ability to identify errors and weak assumptions before finalizing work.
  • Comfort managing multiple work streams and responding quickly to requests.
  • Capability to work independently with limited direction as well as collaboratively with a team.
