Role Summary
The Assembly Operator will build, assemble, and test mechanical or electromechanical products so they meet production, quality, and safety expectations. The position plays an important role in keeping production moving, making sure parts are assembled to engineering requirements, spotting problems early, and contributing to ongoing improvement on the manufacturing line.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production machinery in a safe and efficient way.
- Work according to standard operating procedures while staying aligned with safety, quality, and production rules.
- Keep the workstation tidy and well organized, following 5S or similar lean manufacturing practices.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing setting, including work with manufacturing tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and squat as part of the job.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfort working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment with frequent starts and stops.
- Strong focus on detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Reliable, alert, and committed to safe work practices.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, material handling, or similar industrial work.
- Familiarity with parts and materials used in production operations.
- Good organization skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a process-driven environment.

Pay Range
The hourly pay for this role is $15 to $30, depending on factors such as skills, education, experience, and other relevant qualifications.
