About the Role
This position is focused on moving cargo safely and efficiently within a FedEx Canada facility in Bathurst, New Brunswick. The role involves handling freight directly, scanning and sorting shipments, and transferring cargo between locations as needed.
Key Duties
- Load and unload freight in a safe and efficient manner.
- Scan incoming and outgoing freight and sort it within the facility.
- Move cargo inside the site and between facilities as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Secondary school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to complete all initial and recurring training requirements successfully.
- Capacity to lift up to 70 lb and handle parcels weighing up to 150 lb with proper equipment.
- A valid full driver’s licence and a clean driving record are required.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
