Delivery Driver

Role overview

GSF Car Parts is looking for a Delivery Driver to represent the brand in a customer-facing role. The position plays an important part in keeping deliveries on schedule, sharing useful feedback from the field, and maintaining strong service standards at every customer interaction.

In this role, you will help support the wider performance of the branch and contribute to a positive company image through professional, reliable service.

Key duties

• Transport car parts to customer sites within a 40-mile area of the branch.
• Maintain consistently high customer service standards.
• Pass on relevant information about customer and competitor activity to the branch team.
• Load the vehicle in line with company processes.
• Pick up customer returns when needed.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and general upkeep.
• Support warehouse work when required.
• Handle inter-branch transfer deliveries when requested.

Working pattern

The role requires an average of 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday working included.

Candidate profile

Applicants should be customer-oriented, able to work to deadlines, and motivated to go beyond the expected level of service. Good timekeeping and a strong understanding of excellent customer care are important for success in this position.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Strong familiarity with the branch’s 40-mile delivery radius.
• Previous experience working as a delivery driver.
• The ability to recognise the importance of high-quality customer service.
• Good organisation, punctuality, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A service-led attitude with the willingness to go the extra mile.
