Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is for a Document Controller in Riyadh. The person in this role will be responsible for handling documents across their full lifecycle, including creation, receipt, sorting, storage, and archiving in both paper and digital form. The position requires careful control of document accuracy, completeness, and versioning, along with maintaining logs, updating tracking tools, and making sure project records remain organized and easy to locate.
What You Will Do
You will work with project teams, internal departments, and outside stakeholders to circulate documents, monitor approvals, and ensure document control practices are followed consistently. Day-to-day work will also include checking documents against required standards, controlling access and confidentiality, assisting with audits, and helping improve documentation workflows and procedures.
Requirements
- Capability to manage documents systematically, including filing, tracking, storing, and retrieving records efficiently.
- Experience preparing and formatting project documentation and maintaining consistent records.
- Knowledge of records management practices such as retention, archiving, and secure disposal in line with company rules.
- Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external contacts, clarifying needs, and keeping document flow on schedule.
- Comfort using document control tools or electronic document management systems, plus solid working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to handle several document streams and deadlines at once.
- Ability to work on site in Riyadh, collaborate effectively with others, and follow standard procedures and quality expectations.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in administration, information management, or a related discipline is preferred; prior work as a Document Controller or in a similar position is considered an advantage.
