Role overview
The Executive Assistant will act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, representing the organization professionally and helping reinforce Clorox’s values and purpose. This position requires someone who can work independently, stay ahead of priorities, and support executive-level operations with sound judgment and discretion.
What you will do
- Own executive calendars and schedules, coordinate travel arrangements including detailed itineraries, process expense reports, and reconcile P-card transactions accurately.
- Serve as a direct point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, preparing or organizing content for emails, memos, presentations, and reports on behalf of leadership.
- Plan and coordinate meetings and events in partnership with other assistants, facilities teams, and IT when needed.
- Handle highly confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and care.
- Support the creation of reports, presentations, and spreadsheets using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
What the company is looking for
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 8 years of administrative assistant experience supporting a C-suite executive.
- Ability to provide senior-level administrative and strategic support to two Executive Committee members leading Finance and Human Resources.
- Strong command of Outlook and calendaring tools, intermediate to advanced skills in Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, plus beginner to intermediate Excel capability.
- Background in organizing meetings and events.
- Comfort with complex business issues, identifying challenges, suggesting solutions, and partnering across functions to deliver results.
- A track record of completing projects and commitments quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do approach.
- Proven ability to manage confidential matters and complex assignments with initiative and judgment.
- Strong attention to detail, effective time management, multitasking ability, and a results-driven mindset.
- Forward-looking planning skills and a process-oriented way of working.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid position with four days per week in the office in Oakland, California.

The role is tied to the U.S. salary structure, which varies by location zone. The listed annual ranges are:
- Zone A: $65,000 to $115,800
- Zone B: $59,600 to $106,100
- Zone C: $54,200 to $96,500
Pay is determined by factors such as skills, experience, knowledge, and location. Most new hires are expected to begin in the lower half of the applicable range, and the range may change over time.

This position is eligible for incentive plans, subject to the terms of the relevant plan documents and policies.
