Role Summary
This is a full-time remote Handyman position that combines job coordination with hands-on repair and maintenance work carried out at client sites. The role includes handling scheduling and communication remotely while completing a range of tasks on location. You will be expected to diagnose maintenance problems, carry out small plumbing and electrical repairs, complete carpentry and drywall tasks, repaint surfaces, assemble furniture or fixtures, and manage other general home improvement work.
In addition to the practical work, you will speak with clients to clarify requirements, share basic estimates, record finished work, and keep service logs or work orders updated using digital tools. The position calls for strong safety awareness, good time management, independent working ability, and a professional presence when dealing with clients.
Responsibilities
- Assess maintenance issues and determine practical repair solutions at client locations.
- Carry out minor plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and assembly tasks.
- Complete general home repair and improvement jobs as assigned.
- Communicate with clients to understand the scope of work and confirm requirements.
- Provide simple estimates for jobs when needed.
- Record completed work and keep service documentation updated through digital systems.
- Manage scheduling and remote coordination of assigned jobs.
- Follow safety procedures and work responsibly on every site.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and working in their properties.
Requirements
- Proven background in general home repair and maintenance, including areas such as plumbing, light electrical work, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Ability to operate standard hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability in repair scenarios.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or computer for scheduling, communication, and work documentation.
- Good customer service skills with clear, respectful communication.
- Physical capability to lift, bend, and work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transport for reaching job sites.
- Willingness to follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Prior experience in handyman work, facilities maintenance, construction, or a similar field is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade-related certifications or licenses are advantageous.
