Role overview
This senior executive opportunity is intended for an experienced leader in the United States who is prepared to take complete responsibility for an acquired company. The role begins with close collaboration alongside an investment team to assess and execute acquisition opportunities, and then moves into a post-close President and CEO position. It blends investment analysis with hands-on leadership, demanding strong business judgment, ownership mentality, and the ability to build long-term enterprise value.
The position sits at the top of the organization with full profit-and-loss accountability. You will guide strategy, operational execution, growth, finance, and organizational development while leading teams across functions. This is a highly independent, performance-oriented role in a long-horizon investment environment.
Accountabilities
- Work with the investment team to identify, assess, and carry acquisition opportunities through execution
- Step into President and CEO leadership after an acquisition closes and take full operational ownership
- Manage complete P&L performance, including EBITDA, cash flow, and profitability
- Set direction for the business and translate strategy into growth and operational improvement plans
- Recruit, align, and lead senior and functional teams with clear accountability for results
- Coordinate with boards and investors on value-creation priorities and long-term plans
- Lead business development efforts to increase revenue and strengthen market position
- Maintain disciplined execution across finance, operations, and organizational growth
Requirements
- At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in roles such as CEO, President, General Manager, or similar P&L ownership positions
- Demonstrated success in owning a business end to end, including strategy, operations, and financial results
- Clear history of improving EBITDA, profitability, and cash flow
- Experience leading organizations through growth, turnaround, or transformation phases
- An entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work independently and be fully accountable for outcomes
- Proven ability to generate revenue growth through business development
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High integrity, sound decision-making, and credibility with boards and investors
