About the Organisation
Next Gen Investors Endowment is a Singapore-headquartered non-profit focused on spotting, equipping, and motivating the next generation of responsible investors. Its work spans the Next Gen Investment Office, the Next Gen Scholarship Programme, workshops, conferences, and community initiatives designed to make investing more approachable for young people and help them develop the confidence, knowledge, and network needed for meaningful careers in investing. The organisation has already trained more than 300 students, awarded scholarships to 13 people, and delivered over 50 investment workshops and conferences.
In addition to Singapore, the organisation also has a presence in Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. It is now seeking a Program Associate to support the next stage of growth.
Role Summary
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys meeting people, strengthening communities, coordinating events, and learning about investing. Previous experience in investing or business development is not necessary. The team is looking for a person who is proactive, personable, well organised, and enthusiastic about helping a mission-driven non-profit platform expand.
The Program Associate will partner closely with the leadership team and contribute to fundraising, donor relationship management, partnership development, student and alumni community engagement, and event delivery.
What You Will Do
You will help support fundraising and outreach efforts, maintain donor and partner records, assist with community communications, and coordinate events and programme activities. The role also includes student-facing programme support, scholarship-related work, and tracking impact.
Business Development and Fundraising Support
- Help identify, research, and connect with potential donors, sponsors, corporate partners, and institutional supporters.
- Contribute to the preparation of fundraising materials, donor updates, sponsorship proposals, impact reports, presentations, and follow-up messages.
- Keep donor and partner databases current, monitor outreach status, and support timely follow-through.
- Assist in planning and running donor engagement activities such as small-group meetings, investor gatherings, student showcase sessions, and impact-sharing events.
Community Building
- Support the growth and engagement of the Next Gen community, including students, alumni, mentors, investors, donors, and partners.
- Help manage ongoing communication with community members through email, messaging platforms, newsletters, social media, and event announcements.
- Build positive relationships with students and young professionals while contributing to a welcoming, high-quality community experience.
- Look for opportunities to improve participation and engagement across the student, alumni, donor, and investor network.
Event Planning and Execution
- Assist with the organisation of investment workshops, conferences, networking sessions, student programmes, donor events, overseas visits, and community meetups.
- Coordinate event logistics such as venue search, speaker coordination, registration, event materials, invitations, travel arrangements, and post-event follow-up.
- Attend and support events in Singapore and occasionally in Kuala Lumpur and China.
- Help ensure events are professional, orderly, and aligned with the organisation’s mission and brand.
Investment Learning and Programme Support
- Support investment education programmes for students and help coordinate with mentors, speakers, and industry professionals.
- Assist with programme administration, student selection, scholarship-related activities, and impact monitoring.
Ideal Candidate
The organisation is looking for someone energetic, reflective, and people-focused. This role may suit you if you enjoy bringing people together, are excited by the idea of helping build a young investor community, and want to work closely with donors, students, investors, and partners.
You do not need to be an investment specialist. Curiosity, accountability, clear communication, and a genuine desire to grow with the organisation matter more.
Compensation
The monthly base pay is S$3,200 to S$4,000, depending on experience and fit. In addition, the role includes a performance bonus linked to fundraising outcomes for the non-profit.
Working Arrangement
This is a remote role. You will be required to work on Sundays, and you may take one weekday off in lieu. The role also involves occasional travel to Kuala Lumpur and China.
Application
Applicants should send their CV and a short write-up explaining their interest in Next Gen Investors Endowment and this position to the email provided by the organisation.
