About the role
Silent Aire, part of Johnson Controls, develops, engineers, and manufactures advanced cooling and HVAC systems for critical environments. The business focuses on data centres and other high-technology facilities, where dependable performance, energy efficiency, sustainability, quality, and ongoing improvement are essential.
What you will do
- Assist Project Managers with the daily coordination and execution of projects.
- Handle several projects at the same time while keeping delivery on schedule.
- Work closely with general contractors and client-side teams at site level and escalate issues when necessary.
- Prepare clear, accurate updates and reports for management.
- Keep project spending under control and within budget targets.
- Support delivery of high-standard products and services to clients.
- Convert client requirements into workable schedules for site teams.
- Improve site installation and commissioning activity with a strong focus on quality.
- Track and document delays or issues that could affect commercial outcomes.
- Run meetings such as lessons learned sessions, RAID reviews, and site meetings.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
How you will contribute
- Coordinate deliverables across Engineering, Manufacturing, and QA/QC teams.
- Use checks and controls to reduce errors and embed learnings from previous work.
- Support procurement and supplier coordination when needed.
- Coach and encourage team members to support continuous improvement.
- Provide technical input and make small design refinements that improve site efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with quality requirements and reporting expectations.
- Take a proactive, solution-focused approach to issues as they arise.
- Travel internationally as required to assist with site delivery.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving ability and a clear understanding of customer expectations and quality standards.
- At least 3 years of experience in a site management role within manufacturing or construction.
- Comfortable using Microsoft applications.
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, self-driven, and action-focused.
- Valid full driver’s licence.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally when needed.
Desirable qualifications and training
- First Aid, IOSH, PSCS, Slinger/Banksman training, Manual Handling, Safe Pass, and Working at Heights certification.
- Experience delivering HVAC projects in the data centre sector.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Capability to build team morale and support continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, the ability to handle multiple deadlines, and a firm but fair working style.
Additional information
This role is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland and is a full-time onsite position. International travel is part of the role.
