Role Overview

This full-time, permanent Project Manager role is based in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement. The position starts immediately and reports to the Manager of the Project Management Office and Customer Experience. The successful candidate will lead projects end to end, ensuring planning, coordination, execution, control, and completion stay aligned with organizational strategy, commitments, and goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the project scope, identify available resources, and estimate the time and financial effort required.
  • Lead task allocation, assign deadlines, and hold regular check-ins to review progress and rebalance resources when needed.
  • Compare actual spending against the approved budget, including travel costs, allocated staff time, project support, and customer training.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Own project activities from start to finish, including tracking milestones, tasks, timelines, escalations, resource changes, and team updates.
  • Work within the Statement of Work and prepare project documents such as plans, implementation checklists, change orders, technical design documents, and acceptance records.
  • Drive change management actions as needed to achieve project outcomes.
  • Review and assess project results and delivery performance.
  • Monitor deliverables to ensure they are completed as expected.
  • Partner with R&D, Sales, and Technical Support to identify product or process issues and ensure corrective actions are taken to protect customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and schedule customer training sessions, both remotely and onsite.
  • Support application deployment from concept through implementation by contributing technical direction, strategy, and leadership for design.
  • Help with project implementations when needed, following up with customers and vendors to deploy software.
  • Support customers and vendors with installations, setup, and configuration tasks.
  • Follow through with customers and vendors during testing and implementation to help ensure successful software adoption.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
  • PMP certification from a recognized program.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of project management experience.
  • Background in the healthcare industry is mandatory.
  • Experience with Connexall software in a healthcare environment will be considered an advantage.
  • Well-developed leadership, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to work with customers, Account Executives, Clinical Solutions Specialists, and Business Analysts to define project scope and requirements.
