  • Keep project records, reporting tools, and internal tracking systems up to date.
  • Support leadership with planning, scheduling, and operational follow-through.
  • Help develop and coordinate youth education efforts, including K–12 activities, workshops, demonstrations, and field-based learning sessions.
  • Coordinate with schools, youth groups, and education partners while tracking participation and program outcomes.
  • Support collaboration with project partners, community groups, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Serve as a communication link between TASFRL leadership, contractors, partners, and program participants.
  • Organize meetings, working groups, and partner communications related to agriculture, forestry, and conservation projects.
  • Assist with services that connect farmers, ranchers, and land stewards to conservation resources and technical support.
  • Coordinate landowner outreach, site visits, and engagement events.
  • Maintain follow-up communication with participating landowners.
  • Support Land Management Services (LMS) activities tied to conservation and regenerative land management practices.
  • Track project progress and document results against program goals.
  • Maintain internal documentation and reporting for project work.
  • Assist with grant reporting, partner updates, and program records.
  • Support project budgets and the tracking of funded activities.
  • Coordinate field programs involving regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, and land stewardship.
  • Support field demonstrations, drone-enabled operations, and precision agriculture tools.
  • Work with field teams and technical contractors involved in program delivery.
  • In the first 90 days, learn TASFRL programs and SFLR Network priorities, set up tracking systems, begin contractor and partner coordination, support active projects and LMS-related landowner engagement, coordinate with CEFS staff on field implementation, and assist in planning youth education initiatives focused on K–12 engagement in agriculture, forestry, and land stewardship.

  • Prior experience coordinating or managing projects or programs in nonprofit, agriculture, conservation, or community-based settings.
  • Excellent organization and project coordination abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with sound interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort managing multiple initiatives while coordinating with contractors and partners.
  • Willingness and ability to travel often to rural and agricultural communities.
  • Preferred background in program management, forestry, agriculture, conservation, agroecology, or environmental justice.
  • Experience working with farmers, ranchers, or land stewardship programs is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with USDA, NRCS, or conservation programs is preferred.
