Gritter Francona is hiring a Project Manager to support project management, scheduling, analysis, testing, and implementation work tied to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) initiatives. The focus areas include Community Care Network Next Generation (CCN NG) readiness, Veterans Financial Management Platform (VFMP) modernization, and connected Payer Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) modernization efforts.

The person in this role will guide the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex healthcare modernization programs, making sure work stays aligned across business and technology teams. This position also involves maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking readiness and testing milestones, and supporting executive reporting.

Key work areas

The Project Manager will build and update comprehensive schedules that cover systems development, modernization activities, implementation preparation, and testing checkpoints. These schedules will be linked with enterprise Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) supporting CCN NG readiness, VFMP modernization, and related Payer EDI efforts.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is acceptable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • At least 6 years of steadily increasing project management experience are required.
  • At least 4 years of experience supporting federal healthcare programs are required, ideally within the Department of Veterans Affairs or another federal healthcare agency.
