Role overview
This position supports the front-line sales team and external clients by preparing accurate and timely proposals for Bombardier Aircraft Services aftermarket work. The role sits at the intersection of sales support, planning, scheduling, pricing, and coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Assist sales representatives and customers by producing prompt and precise proposals for aftermarket aircraft services.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers, Product Administrators, Schedulers, and Planners to define pricing, timing, and standard downtime for the required work scope.
- Manage several proposal tracks at once using Salesforce and Maximo, while adjusting smoothly to shifting priorities.
- Apply special programs, incentives, and pricing revisions, and coordinate maintenance scheduling with internal teams and outside vendors.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Product Administrators to gather all information needed to build proposals.
- Follow proposal workflow stages in Salesforce and Maximo to keep items moving efficiently through the system.
- Check each proposal carefully for completeness, quality, and accuracy before it is released.
- Confirm that proposals align with the requesting Regional Sales Manager’s requirements.
- Provide status updates and reporting to the Team Lead or Manager.
- Preserve accurate data and uphold accountability for all assigned work.
Requirements
- A diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in one of the following areas: aircraft maintenance operations, aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling, or sales support.
- Practical understanding of aircraft service and maintenance programs and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively on an individual basis as well as in a team environment.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Comfort using computers and learning or operating word processing tools, MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, Maximo, and other web-based systems.
- Good interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, management, and contractors.
