QA Engineer

About the role

NEXadept is hiring a QA/Test Engineer in Singapore to help keep its products dependable and release-ready. In this role, you’ll create and run test coverage, spot defects early, and partner with engineering teams to raise overall software quality.

What you will do

• Plan, build, and carry out test scenarios and test cases.
• Run functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
• Log, monitor, and manage bugs and other quality issues.
• Work with developers and product managers to get defects resolved.
• Create and update automated test scripts.
• Check quality across web, mobile, and backend components.
• Join requirement reviews and share quality-oriented feedback.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in QA or software testing.
• Good knowledge of testing methods, workflows, and best practices.
• Experience designing test cases and using defect tracking systems.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Basic coding or scripting ability in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Understanding of APIs and familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Preferred experience

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Background in testing mobile apps on iOS or Android.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and test architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps or SRE practices.
• Experience testing AI/ML products or other data-driven systems.
