Role overview
Specialty Trainees of New Zealand (STONZ) is looking for a capable and seasoned RMO Advisor to represent and assist Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. This position offers the chance to contribute at a national level by helping shape workforce conditions, guiding doctors through complex workplace matters, and strengthening relationships with Te Whatu Ora | Health NZ and regional districts.
The role is based in Christchurch, with flexible and remote working arrangements available. While the listing notes part-time suitability for the right candidate, it also mentions a full-time option of 37.5 hours per week.
What the role involves
In this position, you will act as a dependable advisor and the main contact for RMOs, offering specialist support, helping to resolve employment-related issues, and contributing to sector-wide improvements.
