Pay and pay cycle
- Starting wage: $21.16 per hour

Schedule
- Night shift availability
- 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6am
- Plant schedules vary based on business needs and candidate preference
- One option is a 2-2-3 rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
- This rotation typically results in 3 to 4 workdays per week

Job summary
The sanitation team member is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing shared plant areas or the processing room. Work includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and removing trash as needed.
Key duties
- Keep supply rooms inventoried and restocked when needed
- Prepare cleaning solutions in the correct proportions
- Operate equipment such as hand jacks, manlifts, booms, floor scrubbers, KaiVac units, and other sanitation tools as required
- Carry out scheduled deep-cleaning tasks to meet third-party audit expectations and supervisor direction
- Follow 5S practices
- Record all cleaning work performed
- Clean computer stations, control panels, extruder motors and gear boxes, exterior electrical cabinets, electrical lines, carts and containers, ladders, fan filters and vents, walls, floor mats, sink and wash pit areas, mixer platforms, die storage, pump stations, and scales in the processing area
Minimum qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire
- High school diploma or GED
- About one month of related experience or training
- Able to understand short and simple instructions
- Can perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with whole numbers and decimals
Physical requirements and working conditions
- Work is performed in a normal manufacturing setting
- Must be physically able to carry out assigned tasks
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with arms, and communicate by speaking and hearing
- Frequently required to stand and walk, and to lift or move up to 25 lbs
- May occasionally need to lift or move up to 50 lbs and pass an annual lift test
- Safety gear may be required, including eye protection, side shields, hearing protection, and hair/beard nets
