Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Security Guard position in Dubai. The role focuses on protecting people, property, and premises by supervising entry and exit points, carrying out routine patrols, and identifying unusual or unsafe situations. The position also includes checking credentials, managing access, welcoming and guiding visitors and staff, enforcing site rules, and documenting incidents accurately. In emergencies, the Security Guard may need to respond quickly and coordinate with emergency services while maintaining a professional image and clear communication in line with company and client expectations.

Key Duties

• Observe entrances, exits, and shared areas to help maintain security throughout the site.
• Perform scheduled patrols and keep watch for suspicious behavior or potential hazards.
• Verify identification and regulate access to the premises.
• Support visitors and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
• Apply site policies and rules consistently.
• React appropriately to incidents and escalate matters when needed.
• Coordinate with emergency responders if a situation requires external assistance.
• Prepare accurate logs, reports, and incident records.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Strong people skills and customer service ability for regular interaction with clients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Practical knowledge of physical security, including patrolling, access control, and monitoring premises and equipment.
• Familiarity with personnel security and private security practices to help protect people and property.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure, make sensible decisions during emergencies, and follow detailed instructions.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification preferred.
• Prior experience in security or law enforcement, along with relevant certifications or licenses, is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, remain on foot or standing for long periods, and comply with local Dubai regulatory requirements for security staff.
