2nd Shift Samples Cutter

Role overview

STARK is hiring an experienced Samples Cutter for its Calhoun, Georgia facility. In this position, you will accurately cut, prepare, and arrange product samples based on company standards and customer needs. The role focuses on making sure each sample is produced to quality expectations, completed on schedule, and ready for delivery to customers, sales teams, and showrooms.

Work schedule

This is a full-time second-shift role with a Monday through Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Compensation and bonus

A hiring/retention bonus of up to $1,000 is available within the first year. Bonus details will be shared during the interview process.

Key duties

• Trim product samples to the required dimensions while meeting quality expectations.
• Examine materials for flaws and confirm the samples accurately reflect the finished product.
• Mark, pack, and prepare samples for shipping or internal distribution.
• Track and manage sample materials and supply inventory.
• Use cutting machines and hand tools in a safe, efficient manner.
• Work from production orders, schedules, and specific customer instructions.
• Help build sample boards, binders, and other presentation materials when needed.
• Keep the workspace clean, orderly, and safe.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and customer service teams on sample priorities and requests.
• Perform checks to maintain accuracy and consistency across samples.
• Assist with other warehouse or production tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong focus on accuracy and product quality.
• Ability to understand work instructions, labels, and product specifications.
• Basic math and computer knowledge for logging information and labeling tasks.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and repeat tasks for long periods.
• Openness to cross-training and helping in other areas when needed.
